Terms and Conditions of "Refer and Share" Customer Referral Electronic Offer ("e-Offer")

• The promotional period of CMB Wing Lung "Refer and Share" Customer Referral e-Offer ("e-Offer") is between 13th July 2020 – 31st December 2020 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotional Period").
• How to enjoy e-Offer:
  • Existing personal/joint name deposit account customer or CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Customer (“Referrer”) of CMB Wing Lung Bank (“the Bank”) can access the promotional page of CMBWLB Wintech mobile application("CMBWLB Wintech"), then login and obtain the Personal Referral Code. Referrer can share the Personal Referral Code to their friends and relatives (“Referee”) within the Promotional Period.
  • Once receives the Personal Referral Code, Referee can make an appointment to open CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account(s) at any branches of the Bank through the “Account Opening” function by downloading CMBWLB Wintech.
  • The new account opened by the Referee must be a CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account. Referee must NOT hold any personal/joint name deposit account with the Bank in the past 12 months when the new CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account is opened. At the same time upon the new CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account is successfully opened, Referee needs to deposit HKD10,000 (or HKD equivalent) and login to CMBWLB Wintech ("Reward Conditions").
  • Referee Reward: Referee who fulfills the Reward Conditions ("Eligible Referee") can enjoy a HKD100 cash reward ("Referee Reward").
  • Referrer Reward: Referrer who successfully refers 2 Eligible Referees during the Promotional Period ("Eligible Referrer") can enjoy a HKD100 cash reward ("Referrer Reward"). For every other 2 Eligible Referees successfully referred, Eligible Referrer can get another HKD100 cash reward, i.e. the Eligible Referrer can enjoy HKD200 cash reward for successful referral of 4 Eligible Referees; HKD300 cash reward for successful referral of 6 Eligible Referees and so on.
• Referee Reward of Eligible Referee will be credited to the CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account of Eligible Referee by 28th February 2021.
• Eligible Referrer can enjoy the Referrer Reward only after the Bank confirms the Eligible Referee has fulfilled the Reward Conditions.
• Referrer Reward of Eligible Referrer will be credited to the HKD deposit account/CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account of Eligible Referrer by 28th February 2021.
• During the entire Promotional Period and at the time the Bank credits the Referrer Reward to the HKD deposit account/CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account and Referee Reward to the CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account of Eligible Referrer and Eligible Referee, all relevant deposit accounts of Eligible Referrer and Eligible Referee shall remain valid and in good standing. If the Eligible Referrer or Eligible Referee holds more than one HKD deposit account/CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account at the Bank, the account to be credited with the Referrer Reward or Referee Reward will be determined by the Bank at its sole discretion.
• If Eligible Referee opens both personal and joint name CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Accounts at the same time, such Eligible Referee will be counted as 1 Eligible Referee. If Eligible Referee (being the other joint name CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account holder) opens personal name CMB Wing Lung All-In-One Card Account, such Eligible Referee will also be counted as an Eligible Referee. The Bank shall have the absolute right to determine the eligibility of Eligible Referees. Referrers cannot refer themselves to become Referees. Referrers and Referees cannot refer each other to become a new customer. Only one referral for each Eligible Referee will be counted. If a Referee is referred by more than one Referrer, the successful referral will be based on the details confirmed by the Eligible Referee. Each Referee can only be referred once during the entire Promotional Period.
• The amount of Referrer Reward and Referee Reward as well as its credit method is determined by the Bank at its sole discretion. The Bank will consider the status of the relevant deposit accounts of the Eligible Referrer and Eligible Referee, and reserves the right to cancel the Referrer Reward and Referee Reward at any time without prior notice.
• Personal Referral Code is transferrable. Each Referrer can refer numerous Referees. E-Offer is subject to quota availability and is offered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Staff of the Bank cannot be Eligible Referrer or Eligible Referee.
• Each Eligible Referee can enjoy e-Offer once only in the Promotional Period.
• Customer should be aware that they are exposed to risks associated with mobile, computer-based or other electronic systems, the internet and other public networks, including disruption, interception, corruption, interruption or loss of transmissions, or suspension, unavailability, delay, malfunction, breakdown, inadequacy or failure of systems, hardware or software, when they login to CMBWLB Wintech. If the Referrer, for whatever reasons, are logged out from CMBWLB Wintech before they obtain the Personal Referral Code of e-Offer, e-Offer cannot be enjoyed and cannot be made available. Referrer must access CMBWLB Wintech again in order to get another chance to obtain the Personal Referral Code to enjoy e-Offer. If the Referee, for whatever reasons, are not successfully making an appointment to open deposit account(s) at any branches of the Bank through the “Account Opening” function of CMBWLB Wintech, the Referee must access "Account Opening" function again in order to get another chance to enjoy e-Offer.
• The E-Offer cannot be used in conjunction with or exchangeable for any other promotional offers, discounts, benefits, privileges and coupons.
• Eligible Referrer's and Eligible Referee's usage of e-Offer is subject to these Terms & Conditions of e-Offer. The account opening of Eligible Referee is subject to the applicable Terms & Conditions of the Bank.
• The Bank reserves the right to suspend, terminate or cancel e-Offer, or to amend or vary any terms or conditions of e-Offer at any time without further notice.
• In case of disputes, the Bank's decision and records shall be final, conclusive and binding.
• Risk Disclosure: The risk of loss associated with the volatile movement in foreign exchange market can be substantial. Participants should have a thorough understanding of the market and should be aware of the risk of foreign exchange investment.
• If case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions of e-Offer, the English version shall prevail.
